Purpose:- Identify needs for skills development and capacity building among Unitarian Universalist members.
- Develop annual plan for workshops, speakers, training sessions, and/or other activities to support Unitarian Universalist members.

Communications Task Group
Purpose:- Establish guidelines for internal and external communications.
- Recommend technology applications to support communications goals.
- Prepare brochures and other documents explaining the goals and structure of UUSJ.
- Product print and electronic publications for internal and external communications.
- Arrange for publicity about UUSJ, its goals, and activities.

Environmental Justice Task Force

Fundraising Task Group
Purpose:- Recommend to the Board fundraising policies and programs in spuuort of objectives established by the Board of Trustees.
- Act as an advisory panel to the Executive Director during development of fundraising strategies.
- Assist in fundraising research and grant writing as needed.

Finance Committee
Purpose:- Recommend to the Board of Trustees policy for effective and efficient financial management of the organization.
- Review, evaluate, and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees with respect to all business functions of the organization but not limited to: budget, business records and systems, buisness planning, and auxillary enterprises.

Nominating Committee
Purpose:- Nominate candidates for orricies to the Board of Trustees.
- Nominate candidates for at-large membership on the Executive Committee.
- Nominate candidates for each vacancy that occurs in membership of the Board and members of all standing committees.
Banner Neighborhood Project
Purpose:- Banner is focused on growing a more healthy and vibrant community for children and families by identifying problems that need solving and involving the entire neighborhood in creating transformative solutions.
- Rather than looking for solutions outside the community, Banner lifts up the vision and capabilities of the neighborhood residents and invites people from outside to partner with them in supporting community growth.
- There are two after school clubs staffed mainly by volunteer Unitarian Universalists.
- Social Activities for the children are also planned by local Unitarian Universalist congregations.
